Easter Prayer to Saint Pio of Pietrelcina
Beloved Saint Pio, humble and faithful servant of the Crucified and Risen Lord, on this glorious Easter day, my heart opens to the mystery of Life that conquers death. You, who bore in your own flesh the marks of Christ’s Passion, lead us into the mystery of the Resurrection—where Life has overcome death, and light has triumphed over darkness. In the silence of your earthly life, through your daily offering at the altar and your ceaseless prayer, you embraced suffering as a path to redemption and transformed it into love.
Help us, Padre Pio, to endure our trials with trust and surrender, confident that “after the night, always comes the Easter dawn.” You, who loved the Lord so deeply, teach us to recognize Him in the faces of our brothers and sisters, to serve Him with humility, and to hope firmly in the victory of Love over all evil.
Saint Pio, intercede for us before the Heart of the Risen One, that we may be renewed in spirit, strengthened in faith, and transformed by His peace. Let our hearts, too, awaken to the joy of Easter morning, when the stone was rolled away and the tomb was found empty. May we, like you, be able to say: “All in Jesus, all for Jesus, all with Jesus.” Amen.
